I was thinking a job, almost any job. I was and am one of many that had to come to grips of a lost job. Due to our country and the worlds economic problems. Everyday we here how much better things are getting, who gets the credit and who gets the blame depends on the channel you watch or listen to. Last word on the economy from me is this. I took a job as a bus driver because at my age, I haven't landed any other work. I still have one child in school, after he graduates then my goal of watching him grow up will be fulfilled. My dad was a truck driver, not home much. We both missed out on a lot, I think. I don't want a repeat of my life for my son, we all want our kids life to be better. Anyway thats what I was thinking.
Most of this blog will be about what kids do, or don't. My insights, right or wrong. And trips into my past, as I see some of these 56 kids for a couple of hours a day, it becomes a (kung fu episode) I see some of the same characteristics as kids I grew up with. Some I had forgotten, so bus driving can some how be therapeutic, thats helping in the treatment of an ailment. In my case, lost his mind syndrome!
